Turning an old dancewear outfit into a new Halloween costume is a fun and interesting challenge. With just a few additions, an old dance outfit can transform your little girl into a beautiful fairy, princess, bee or butterfly.

Dance costumes are easy to recycle into beautiful little fairy costumes that please your little one and your pocket book. Your local dollar store should carry most of the accessories you need to complete your fairy ensemble. A pair of fairy wings, a wand, costume jewelery and a circlet of flowers complete the fairy look. To turn a dance costume into a princess costume, lengthen the tutu by adding layers of tule beneath.
